The Department of Nursing and Midwifery Education and Research (DNAMER) provides orientation, compulsory and continuing professional development education for midwives and nurses employed at KEMH. The department provides educational activities for staff from other health services, which includes a range of self-directed and other e-learning packages. This may extend to country areas via telehealth and visits to hospitals by negotiation.
Midwifery and nursing research activities are coordinated and facilitated by the department.
