Volunteer with us or donate

Volunteers at KEMH are managed by the hospital’s charity, the Women and Infants Research Foundation (WIRF) under their Volunteer Program (external site).

We are immensely proud of our volunteers. Their hard work and commitment directly benefits women and babies in Western Australia by supporting patients and visitors. Volunteers come from all walks of life and each one brings unique experiences and skills.

Depending on their interests and level of experience, there are several ways a volunteer can participate. Areas where volunteers provide support include:

  • Gift shop and café
  • Patient wards
  • Office administration
  • Marketing support
  • Op Shop
  • Event assistance and management.

Donations

Donate to King Edward Memorial Hospital via our charity, the Women and Infant’s Research Foundation (WIRF). WIRF help raise vital funds for equipment, new initiatives and provide support to facilitate essential research studies into women and infant health.
